In addition to equine reproduction, Al Galayel expanded into veterinary pharmaceutical distribution and pharmacy operations in 2018. The center aims to enhance Qatar's breeding programs by offering high-quality medical services, maintaining the largest Arabian semen bank in the Middle East, and promoting awareness through annual seminars on horse health and nutrition. Al Galayel also focuses on meeting the country's equine supply needs, including supplements, feeds, and medicines.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position located in Doha, Qatar, for a Veterinarian at Al Galayel Equine Center. The Veterinarian will provide medical care and treatment tailored to the reproductive needs of mares and stallions, utilizing advanced diagnostic and laboratory equipment. Responsibilities include conducting health evaluations, administering medications, performing reproductive procedures, and providing technical support to local breeders. The role also involves collaborating with the team to enhance breeding programs and contributing to seminars on equine health and nutrition.

Qualifications

• Proficient in equine reproductive care, including fertility treatment and diagnostic procedures.
• Skilled in administering medications, performing routine veterinary care, and handling medical equipment.
• knowledgeable on artificial inseminations, embryo transfer, stallion collection, and freezing.
• neonatology; skilled in handling new foals and treatments.
• Strong knowledge of equine nutrition, health management, and breeding program development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with breeders and veterinary teams.
• DVM or equivalent professional veterinary degree, and licensure to practice in Qatar is preferred.
• Experience in equine care and reproduction is highly desirable.
