Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our clinical team in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.

In this role, you will support veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical and surgical care while ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our patients. You will play an essential role in patient care, surgical assistance, and maintaining a smooth and efficient clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Confidently handle and restrain animals during examinations and treatments
  • Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients, including monitoring, feeding, grooming, and walking animals
  • Administer treatments including injections, medications, IV fluids, and other prescribed therapies
  • Perform diagnostic procedures such as blood sampling, urine analysis, and radiography
  • Prepare animals for surgical procedures and assist veterinarians during operations
  • Monitor anesthesia and support patients during surgical procedures
  • Assist with minor procedures such as wound care and dental hygiene
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the clinic
  • Sterilize, prepare, and organize surgical instruments and equipment
  • Clean and prepare surgical areas before and after procedures
  • Prepare and send laboratory samples for testing
  • Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical reporting
  • Communicate with pet owners, providing reassurance and guidance on treatment and care

Qualifications

  • Veterinary Nursing qualification or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital
  • Strong animal handling and patient care skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-based clinical setting
  • Good communication skills and a compassionate approach to animal care
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
