We are seeking a senior business leader to head our Instrumentation, Automation & Control Systems division. This role carries full end-to-end responsibility for the business unit, including P&L ownership, commercial strategy, engineering capability, project execution, and customer satisfaction.
The Vice President will play a critical role in driving growth, operational excellence, and transforming the business into a high-performing provider of integrated instrumentation, automation, and control system solutions across industrial and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Business & P&L Leadership
- Own full P&L responsibility, driving revenue growth, profitability, and operational efficiency
- Develop and execute annual business plans, budgets, and financial targets
- Track financial KPIs and implement corrective actions as needed
- Provide regular performance and risk updates to executive leadership
Commercial Strategy & Market Development
- Lead tendering, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiations
- Ensure competitive, compliant, and profitable commercial offerings
- Identify and develop opportunities in instrumentation, automation, control systems, and smart industrial applications
- Build and strengthen relationships with utilities, industrial clients, EPC contractors, and consultants
Project Delivery Excellence
- Oversee all projects from award through final handover
- Ensure delivery meets schedule, cost, quality, and safety targets
- Establish and maintain a robust PMO framework for planning, risk management, and reporting
- Improve resource utilization and reduce rework and field issues
Engineering & Systems Integration
- Build strong engineering capabilities across instrumentation, PLC/DCS, SCADA/RTU, and systems integration
- Define engineering standards, design guidelines, and quality control processes
- Strengthen turnkey and integrated solution delivery capabilities
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the senior escalation point for key customers and partners
- Drive customer satisfaction and conduct regular business reviews
- Ensure timely resolution of commercial or execution issues
Organization & Talent Development
- Design and optimize the organizational structure
- Lead, mentor, and develop senior managers across commercial, engineering, and operations
- Identify talent gaps and support recruitment, training, and capability development
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of experience in industrial instrumentation, automation, and control systems
- Proven P&L leadership experience in a project-based or engineering organization
- Strong commercial, contractual, and negotiation skills
- Deep technical knowledge of instrumentation, PLC/DCS, SCADA, and systems integration
- Demonstrated ability to lead large, multidisciplinary technical teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capabilities
