About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a leading independent investment advisory platform in Dubai that is continuing to expand its Corporate Finance and M&A Advisory practice. As part of its growth strategy, the firm is seeking to appoint a Vice President 1 to support the execution of complex advisory mandates across the GCC and wider MENA region.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced investment banking professional looking to take on greater responsibility across deal execution, client management and business development within a highly entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of sell-side, buy-side, capital raising and strategic advisory transactions across multiple sectors.
- Manage transaction workstreams from origination through to completion, ensuring high-quality execution and timely delivery.
- Build and review complex financial models, valuation analyses (DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions and LBO where applicable) and transaction materials.
- Prepare high-quality client presentations, investment memoranda, teasers and board materials.
- Coordinate due diligence processes and manage interactions with legal advisers, financial advisers, lenders and other transaction stakeholders.
- Support senior bankers in developing client relationships and originating new advisory opportunities.
- Participate in client meetings, negotiations and transaction discussions with corporates, private equity firms, family offices and sovereign-related entities.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, reviewing financial analysis and presentation materials to ensure quality and consistency.
- Monitor M&A activity, capital markets and sector trends across the GCC and international markets.
Candidate Profile
- 5–8 years of experience within M&A Advisory, Corporate Finance or Investment Banking.
- Previous experience at a leading investment bank, boutique advisory firm or Big Four Corporate Finance practice.
- Demonstrated experience executing end-to-end M&A transactions.
- Strong technical capabilities across financial modelling, valuation and transaction execution.
- Excellent understanding of corporate finance principles and transaction processes.
- Experience working with corporate clients, family offices, financial sponsors and institutional investors is advantageous.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to contribute to business development initiatives.
- Exceptional analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline. CFA, ACA or equivalent qualifications are advantageous.
