Job Description: Vice President - Business Development - Wealth Management

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Vice President - Business Development to expand the firm's distribution network across the GCC and selected international markets.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing strategic relationships with wealth management firms, independent financial advisers (IFAs), external asset managers (EAMs), private banks, and family offices that provide alternative investment solutions to their clients.
Working closely with senior leadership, the Vice President - Business Development will be responsible for originating new distribution partnerships, strengthening existing relationships, and driving capital-raising initiatives for their private credit and real estate investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development and capital-raising strategies to expand their Global's distribution network.
- Identify, engage, and onboard licensed wealth management firms, IFAs, EAMs, private banks, and family offices as distribution partners.
- Deliver product presentations, due diligence meetings, and ongoing support to distribution partners.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective partners and opportunities using the firm's CRM platform.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, networking events, and client meetings.
- Collaborate with investment, marketing, legal, and compliance teams to support fundraising initiatives and ensure consistent partner engagement.
- Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities to support the firm's growth objectives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of business development, capital raising, relationship management, or distribution experience within asset management, wealth management, or alternative investments.
- Proven success developing distribution partnerships and raising capital through licensed wealth managers, independent financial advisers (IFAs), external asset managers (EAMs), private banks, and family offices.
- Established relationships within the GCC private wealth market are highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of alternative investments, particularly private credit and real estate.
- Excellent relationship management, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, commercially driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or additional languages is an advantage.
