VICE PRESIDENT

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is continuing its rapid expansion across the JAPAC region, delivering next-generation cloud infrastructure to support enterprise and AI-driven workloads. As our cloud footprint continues to grow, we are seeking an accomplished executive to lead Cloud Hardware Support (CHS) across JAPAC.

This leader will be responsible for scaling Cloud Hardware Support operations across JAPAC while ensuring the organisation remains operationally efficient, customer-focused, and well-positioned to support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's continued expansion. As the senior Cloud Hardware Support leader for the region, the successful candidate will set the strategic direction for JAPAC, represent the organisation with executive stakeholders across Oracle. This executive will build a strong leadership bench and establish a scalable organisational structure capable of supporting Oracle's continued hyperscale expansion while fostering a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. Additional responsibilities include:

• Provide executive leadership for Cloud Hardware Support operations across JAPAC, including Build & Deployment, production readiness, hardware lifecycle management, and break-fix operations.
• Develop and execute a scalable regional operating model capable of supporting continued hyperscale growth across multiple countries.
• Lead a large, geographically dispersed organisation that is expected to grow significantly as Oracle expands its cloud footprint throughout the region.
• Drive operational excellence by standardising deployment methodologies, improving service delivery, and implementing best practices across all regional operations.
• Champion the use of AI, automation, process engineering, and data-driven decision making to improve productivity, increase operational efficiency, and reduce the dependency between infrastructure growth and headcount expansion.
• Build and develop high-performing leadership teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Networking, Software Development, Product, Supply Chain, Data Center Engineering, and other cross-functional organisations to ensure successful delivery of new cloud regions and ongoing operational excellence.
• Establish strong contractor, partner, and vendor relationships to support regional deployment and operational readiness.
• Ensure customer commitments and operational service levels are consistently achieved while proactively managing operational risk.
• Partner closely with the VP, Cloud Hardware Support EMEA to establish and execute a consistent global operating model, driving standardised processes, operational metrics, governance, and a world-class customer experience across regions.
• Contribute as a key member of the global Cloud Hardware Support leadership team, helping define the long-term strategy, operating model, and organisational evolution of the function while maintaining full accountability for operational execution across JAPAC.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Executive leadership experience within hyperscale cloud infrastructure, cloud operations, hardware support, data center operations, or infrastructure engineering.
• Proven experience leading large, geographically distributed organisations across multiple countries and cultures.
• Demonstrated success scaling operations within rapidly growing cloud or technology organisations.
• Strong understanding of hyperscale data center operations, infrastructure deployment, hardware lifecycle management, and operational support.
• Proven track record of driving operational transformation through AI, automation, intelligent tooling, process engineering, and scalable operating models.
• Experience leveraging emerging AI capabilities and operational analytics to improve workforce productivity, operational performance, and service quality.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, organisational leadership, and execution capabilities.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across engineering, infrastructure, product, and business organisations.
• Experience building high-performing leadership teams and developing organisational capability through periods of significant growth.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex regional operations while balancing customer requirements, operational excellence, and business priorities.
