Singapore Administration Department, Strategic Management, drives system enhancement/restructuring projects as a representative of business operation users. Besides, we are engaged in operational planning and coordination with relevant parties in Singapore as well as our Head office in Tokyo and APAC Regional Head office.
Your key roles &responsibilities include:
- Perform business analysis, planning and solution delivery for operational matters in back office.
- Drive digitalization and productivity gain projects.
- Project management and leading operation users (e.g.) Swift Standard Release and other Swift related projects, system enhancement projects for Head office or Singapore internal systems.
- Stakeholder alignment among Singapore and Tokyo for operational issues.
- System incident handling and support business contingency by communicating with IT and users.
- Liaison with Tokyo IT department and operation management section in Regional Head office.
What you should have:
- A Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in business analysis role, prior /current experience in SWIFT is required.
- At least 10 years of experience in banking industry.
- Experience of internal control such as risk management, compliance, operation, planning and IT in banking industry and also IT system Project Management.
- Strong understanding of a wide range of banking products is required (Remittance, Cash Management, Trade Finance or FX/Money Market).
- Business-level proficiency in both the English and Japanese languages will be advantageous as you are required to communicate, read and understand as well as respond and present in these two languages. This includes extensive report writing and internal control activities.
- Strong understanding and affiliation to Japanese financial industry with relevant network will be advantageous.
