Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editing Specialist. The Video Editing Specialist will be responsible for editing and assembling raw footage into polished videos for brand campaigns, social media, and other digital content. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and reviewing footage, applying transitions and effects, syncing audio, adding graphics and titles, and ensuring brand consistency across all visual materials. The role involves collaborating with designers, writers, and marketing team members to translate creative briefs into compelling video assets, while meeting deadlines and maintaining high technical standards. The specialist will also optimize video formats for multiple platforms and contribute ideas to improve storytelling and audience engagement.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency with professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
  • Skills in motion graphics and visual effects using tools such as After Effects or comparable applications.
  • Ability to manage media assets, organize project files, and follow efficient post-production workflows.
  • Experience optimizing video for web and social media platforms, including aspect ratios, formats, and compression.
  • Understanding of brand storytelling, visual composition, pacing, and audience engagement.
  • Attention to detail in color correction, sound alignment, and overall quality control.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative setting.
  • Prior experience in marketing, branding, or creative agencies is beneficial.
  • Relevant education or training in film, media, communications, or a related field is a plus, but equivalent experience is also valued.
