Role Description The Video Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. The Video Editor will handle end-to-end video production tasks, including assembling raw footage, editing sequences, and ensuring smooth storytelling for promotional, informational, and event-related content. Daily responsibilities include color grading, adding motion graphics, integrating text and visual elements, and optimizing videos for various digital platforms. The role involves collaborating closely with marketing, events, and design teams to understand project objectives, refine creative concepts, and deliver high-quality visual content that aligns with EDUGATE's brand and messaging. The Video Editor will also maintain organized media libraries, follow deadlines, and adapt content for different formats, such as social media, web, and presentations.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including handling raw footage, assembling timelines, and delivering polished final outputs.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, appealing visuals across diverse lighting and shooting conditions.
• Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging intros, transitions, lower thirds, and visual assets for digital content.
• Familiarity with professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
• Ability to work on-site in Cairo, Egypt, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and following brand guidelines.
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; portfolio demonstrating previous video work is required.
• Understanding of social media and digital content trends, especially in the education and events sectors, is an advantage.
