This freelance role focuses on editing video and photo content for a variety of events, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a hybrid setting within Abu Dhabi and possess a strong background in video editing, videography, and photography. You will collaborate closely with creative professionals to deliver polished content on tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Edit event footage and photos using DaVinci Resolve and other industry-standard tools
- Collaborate with videographers and photographers to assemble raw material into compelling stories
- Ensure all deliverables meet technical and creative standards
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and client requirements
- Apply color grading, audio adjustments, and visual effects as needed
- Organize and archive project files for efficient workflow
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project alignment
Skills And Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing, preferably for event coverage
- Proficiency with DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom)
- Strong understanding of post-production workflows for both video and photo content
- Ability to work in a hybrid setting in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and a creative eye for storytelling
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience with color grading, audio editing, and basic motion graphics is a plus
