Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Video Editor with strong experience in podcast editing and short-form content.

You will be responsible for editing long-form podcast episodes and transforming them into high-impact signature reels optimized for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn. The role requires a strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual consistency, ensuring every piece of content reflects Goocast's quality standards and creative direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Edit long-form podcast episodes (video & audio) with a strong focus on storytelling, clarity, and flow
  • Create signature reels from podcast content with engaging hooks, clean cuts, captions, and visual rhythm
  • Apply professional color grading, sound balancing, and audio cleanup suitable for podcast standards
  • Integrate motion graphics, subtitles, and branding elements when needed
  • Maintain consistency in style, tone, and visual identity across all outputs
  • Collaborate closely with producers, hosts, and the creative team to deliver high-quality content on tight deadlines
  • Manage post-production workflows from raw footage to final delivery
Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience in podcast video editing (this is a must)
  • Strong portfolio showcasing reels / short-form edits similar to signature reels
  • High proficiency in video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, or similar)
  • Solid understanding of audio editing for podcasts (cleanup, leveling, clarity)
  • Strong sense of timing, storytelling, and social-media-first editing
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Graphic Design, or a related field is a plus
