Position Overview

Our client is seeking a highly skilled, creative, and fast-paced Remote Video Editor to produce engaging, high-quality short-form and long-form video content. This role primarily supports dynamic automotive social media content (high-energy reels and short-form videos) as well as sleek, professional highlight videos for healthcare/dental clients.

The ideal candidate possesses strong creative judgment, stays up to date on social media trends, and demonstrates fast turnaround times without compromising output quality.

Key Responsibilities

Automotive Social Media Edits:

• Edit high-impact, vertical short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) ranging from 15 to 30 seconds.
• Incorporate trendy caption styles, dynamic audio/music sync, color grading, and subtle visual effects.
• Produce automotive showcase videos, service program features, and engaging social content.

Corporate & Dental Highlight Videos:

• Edit clean, cinematic facility recaps and introductory talk-to showcase videos (1 to 2 minutes in duration).
• Utilize 60 FPS slow-motion footage, B-roll transitions, voiceovers, and warming background audio.
• Focus on high visual appeal and smooth cuts without excessive graphics or burnt-in captions.

Workflow & Communication:

• Maintain fast turnaround times (capable of delivering polished initial drafts within 24–48 hours).
• Review raw footage provided by on-site videographers, organize assets, and execute edits efficiently.
• Stay current on social media video trends, popular editing styles, and platform algorithms.

Must-Haves

• Solid video editing portfolio featuring short-form social reels and automotive or high-end commercial edits.
• Ability to execute fast turnaround times without sacrificing production quality.
• Strong grasp of social media trends, pacing, vertical video formatting (9:16), sound design, and color grading.
• High responsiveness and reliable communication skills.
