Today, DigiSay acts as a media group with subsidiaries providing end-to-end services around the content life-cycle from inception to monetization. DigiSay aims to focus on the media sector from a technology, production, and venture-building perspective.

About DS Media

A Leading Multi-Platform Network in the MENA region that has diversified its portfolio of services to be specialized in the media sector and YouTube content management, but aiming for those services to be scalable and technology-based. DS Media's objective is to become one of the biggest digital media companies in the EMEA region, using technology and targeting the global market, and making sure it's a great place to work for.

Main Responsibilities

Video Editing & Production

  • Master various video formats required for social networking sites.
  • Trim footage and assemble sequences, ensuring logical sequencing and smooth transitions.
  • Input music, dialogues, graphics, logos, templates, and special effects as required.
  • Create both rough and final cuts for videos, from TV shows, series, and matches to ensure coherence and audience engagement.
  • Review shooting scripts and raw footage to create a short decision list based on scene value and continuity.
  • Capture channels directly from the receiver and monitor the feed in real time.
  • Upload 5000 videos to YouTube each year, with 2500 videos every six months, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Conduct thorough QA to identify and rectify technical and spelling errors, ensuring the final product is free of visible editing issues.
  • Maintain a target quality score of 96%-100% throughout all video projects.

Row Material Tasks

  • Other tasks: There are different assignments we get during the year that produce a few videos. 500 videos are uploaded to YouTube every year, 250 every 6 months.
  • The target of this task is 500 videos. If someone does a task, this time will be calculated based on the number of videos and deducted from the target. If there are no other tasks, the 500 videos will be achieved.

Video Review and Feedback

  • Review and edit uploaded videos to achieve an annual target of 5000 video reviews with 2500 videos every six months.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure feedback is integrated effectively into the final product.

Content Creation

  • Creating and Implementing New Ideas for Current and Potential Clients
  • The goal of this task is to produce ideas per month instead of 1500 videos. This task must be completed and will not be compensated for by other videos within the target.
  • It is calculated by creating new ideas for clients and implementing them, and there must be 12 videos during the year at a rate of one video per month. There must be an idea and its implementation through a video or material.

Service Level Agreement (SLA) Compliance 10%

  • Adhere to SLA guidelines on Jira tickets, ensuring timely completion and quality of assigned tasks.
  • Track and report on ticket metrics to maintain compliance with service level expectations.

Content Plan Suggestions and Presentation

  • Identify potential new channels and provide creative, well-prepared presentations, ensuring error-free results and consistent formatting.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to develop new content strategies based on market trends.
  • Deliver suggestions before deadlines to enable timely decision-making.

Work Arrangements

Shifts: Three shifts per day (Morning, Mid, Night) (could be changed based on business needs)

Shift Timing: Shifts run from 9 AM to 3 AM (could be changed based on business needs)

Days Off: 2 days per week

Working Hours: 9 hours per shift, including a one-hour break

Working Arrangement: Rotating shifts

Weekend Schedule: Rotating weekend schedule

On-Site Work: Required based on business needs

Ideal Profile

Education Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.

Experience 2-4 years of experience in video editing and shooting videos, with experience in football content

Preferred industries Media production, YouTube content management, and social media management

Linguistic Skills English - Arabic

Computer Skills Google Docs - Google Sheets - Google Slides

Skills Arabic Writing Skills is a must - Attention to Detail, Creativity - Problem-Solving, Driving Results

Programs Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Final Cut, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder
