Company Description Youth Hub Egypt is a youth development enterprise focused on empowering Egyptian children and teenagers aged 11 to 18. The company provides safe, creative, and inclusive spaces where young people can explore their interests, build essential life skills, and prepare for future opportunities. Youth Hub Egypt is developing a comprehensive EdTech platform to support teenagers growth and enable service providers to deliver valuable content to this age group. By acting as a bridge between young learners and content providers, the organization aims to create a synergetic and impactful ecosystem for youth development.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Al Jizah, Egypt. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw footage into engaging videos that align with Youth Hub Egypt's educational and youth-focused content goals. Daily tasks include assembling and trimming clips, adding transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, and applying color grading to ensure visual consistency and quality. The role also involves collaborating with content creators and educators to understand project objectives, incorporating motion graphics and basic visual design elements, and preparing videos for various digital platforms. The Video Editor will maintain organized media libraries, adhere to brand guidelines, and meet production timelines.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Video Production and Video Editing skills, with experience handling different formats and platforms.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual styles across projects.
• Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to create engaging visual elements that support educational content.
• Relevant experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing tools.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to translate educational concepts into compelling visual stories.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience creating content for youth audiences or educational platforms is an advantage.
• A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in film, media, communications, or a related field is preferred.
