Job Title: Vocational L&D Programme Designer (Events & Culture)
Role Overview
We are seeking an L&D Specialist to design and scale a blended vocational training programme for the events, entertainment, and cultural sectors. You will bridge the gap between technical expertise and learner engagement by creating theoretical e-learning and structured practical sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Extraction: Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to extract technical knowledge and translate it into clear learning pathways.
- Blended Design: Develop comprehensive courses combining digital e-learning modules with in-person practical workshops and competency-based testing.
- Train-the-Trainer: Design a dedicated programme to upskill instructors, ensuring consistent quality of delivery during practical sessions.
- LMS Integration: Liaise with the LMS team to implement content, track learner journeys, and manage assessments.
- ISO & Scaling: Document all design, delivery, and assessment procedures to meet ISO standards and enable future scalability.
- Quality Assurance: Establish frameworks to maintain high delivery standards across all courses and locations.
Required Experience & Skills
- L&D Expertise: Proven experience in instructional design, vocational training, and blended learning methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to interview SMEs and facilitate cross-departmental collaboration.
- Management: Strong organisational and time-management skills to lead multiple course-development workstreams simultaneously.
- Technical Writing: Ability to produce high-quality facilitator guides, learner workbooks, and ISO-compliant process documentation.
Desirable
- Language & Culture: Arabic language proficiency and an understanding of Saudi Arabian culture/working environment.
- Sector Knowledge: Experience in events, entertainment, or cultural operations.
Key Deliverables
- Blended vocational course suites (E-learning + Practical).
- Competency assessment frameworks and Train-the-Trainer modules.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the ISO management system.
