Vice President – Asset Management Strategy

We are partnering with a leading financial institution to appoint a Vice President – Asset Management Strategy to play a key role in shaping and executing the organisation's investment strategy.
This senior leadership position will be responsible for driving portfolio performance, strategic asset allocation, and investment decision-making across a diverse investment platform. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders to identify market opportunities, optimize investment outcomes, and contribute to the long-term growth of the asset management business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute asset management and investment strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee portfolio performance and strategic asset allocation decisions.
- Evaluate market trends, investment opportunities, and portfolio risks.
- Collaborate with senior management and investment teams to drive investment outcomes.
- Monitor and enhance portfolio performance through disciplined investment processes.
- Lead strategic initiatives designed to improve investment effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and support the continued growth of the asset management platform.
Requirements
- 10+ years experience within asset management, investment management, or portfolio management.
- Demonstrable experience managing investment portfolios and making investment decisions.
- Strong experience in US Equities is essential; exposure to China Equities is advantageous.
- Proven track record managing stocks and delivering investment performance.
- Strong understanding of portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment strategy.
- CFA Charterholder (or CFA Level III completed) required.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
