The Job
Job Purpose
We're hiring a VP Change Lead within Global Payments Solutions (GPS), focused on Client Service, to support delivery from design through implementation and embedding. The role will drive day-to-day project management across all GPS channels and services impacted by the migration-ensuring robust planning, governance, approvals, execution discipline and evidence of successful outcomes.
The role partners with internal stakeholders and, where applicable, vendors and outsourcing teams to deliver controlled migration outcomes with minimal service disruption.
Principal Responsibilities
Programme delivery and governance
- Own delivery of Client Service work packages end-to-end, supporting the Programme Management Lead to deliver agreed milestones through to cutover and stabilisation.
- Maintain integrated plans, dependencies and critical path; drive RAID management, decision logs, change control and regular status reporting.
- Run working groups and action tracking; escalate risks and issues with clear options, trade-offs and recommendations.
Channel and service impact assessment
- Coordinate analysis of current-state vs target-state impacts across GPS channels and services (e.g., digital channels, host-to-host/connectivity, file/API integrations, SWIFT-related services where applicable, security credentials/entitlements, service models and operational processes).
- Translate impact assessments into executable plans, sequencing, dependency mapping, and risk-managed implementation approach.
- Identify gaps and constraints early; propose practical solutions and mitigations to protect service continuity and client experience.
Client outreach
- Coordinate and align with Client Connectivity, GPS and Coverage frontliners, to conduct required client outreach on documentation for client-impacting changes arising from legal entity and operating model change (may include onboarding artefacts, notices, addenda/terms updates, or recontracting support packs), working with internal product and implementation teams.
- Ensure traceable, audit-ready evidence management of client outreach and agreed outcome.
- Ensure deliverables align to enterprise governance expectations and 3 Lines of Defence control requirements.
Execution, cutover readiness and success monitoring
- Coordinate with Client Connectivity on testing and implementation readiness activities, runbooks, cutover planning and hypercare across impacted teams and vendors/outsourcers.
- Define and track success measures (e.g., stability, incident trends, operational throughput, post-cutover service performance), ensuring timely remediation where needed.
- Support operational readiness, including support model alignment, escalation paths, roles and responsibilities, and handover to BAU.
The Talent
- Strong project management experience (VP level) delivering complex, cross-functional change in regulated financial services; payments/transaction banking/connectivity experience strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage delivery through governance disciplines: integrated planning, critical path, RAID, decisioning, change control and senior stakeholder reporting.
- Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder communication and client outreach in large scale change management projects.
- Strong analytical skills to assess channel/service impacts and translate into actionable plans, dependencies, and risk-managed delivery.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce concise governance updates and maintain audit-ready artefacts.
- Ability to influence without direct authority and work effectively across Business, Operations, Technology and control functions, including multi-location teams.
Preferred
- Familiarity with GPS channels/connectivity patterns (e.g., host-to-host, file/API connectivity, digital channels, security/entitlements, SWIFT-related services where applicable).
- Experience coordinating vendors/outsourcing partners in delivery and cutover readiness.
- Project management qualification (PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile) or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- Knowledge of Singapore regulatory environment and MAS expectations (advantageous).
