Role Summary

We are seeking a VP/AVP – Delivery to lead global delivery execution from our Hyderabad office. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role responsible for managing multiple concurrent client engagements across geographies and industries while ensuring delivery excellence, customer satisfaction, commercial success, and operational scalability.

The role owns the end-to-end delivery organization, including staffing, delivery governance, quality assurance, program execution, escalation management, utilization, and delivery-to-revenue accountability. Working closely with executive leadership, practice leaders, and account teams, you will ensure successful execution of client engagements and transform project wins into long-term referenceable customer success stories.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Leadership & Program Governance

• Own end-to-end delivery across Advisory Services, Enterprise Architecture, Data Foundations, and AI & Intelligent Systems engagements.

• Establish and drive a consistent delivery operating cadence including opportunity reviews, delivery reviews, architecture reviews, and executive governance meetings.

• Ensure all engagements follow the organization's standardized delivery lifecycle from discovery through ongoing optimization.

• Deliver programs on time, within budget, and with high quality across multiple simultaneous enterprise engagements.

Multi-Industry & Global Delivery

• Lead delivery teams supporting enterprise clients across industries including:

o Technology & Telecommunications

o Financial Services

o Insurance

o Manufacturing

o Healthcare

o Energy & Utilities

o Public Sector

o Retail

o Travel, Transportation & Logistics

• Manage globally distributed delivery teams across India and international locations.

• Adapt delivery methodologies for legacy modernization, cloud transformation, enterprise data platforms, and AI-native solutions.

Resource & Capacity Management

• Own staffing strategy, utilization, delivery pod formation, and resource allocation.

• Partner with practice leaders across Data, AI, Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Advisory practices.

• Manage contractor lifecycle, fractional allocations, and future capacity planning.

• Contribute to organizational resource planning and capacity management initiatives.

Delivery Quality & Operational Excellence

• Drive delivery standards, governance frameworks, reusable accelerators, templates, and best practices across engagements.

• Ensure AI governance, observability, evaluation, and quality practices are consistently applied.

• Continuously improve delivery methodologies, estimation models, project execution frameworks, and proposal-to-delivery transition processes.

Client & Executive Engagement

• Serve as the senior delivery executive for client escalations.

• Build trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, CAIOs, CISOs, and other executive stakeholders.

• Represent the organization in executive steering committees, governance reviews, and value realization discussions.

• Ensure delivery outcomes align with business objectives and contractual commitments.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing delivery organization.

• Recruit and develop Delivery Managers, Engagement Managers, Program Managers, and Technical Delivery Leads.

• Foster an AI-first delivery culture leveraging automation, AI-assisted delivery practices, and operational excellence.

Required Experience

• 15+ years of experience in technology consulting, IT services delivery, program management, or portfolio leadership.

• Minimum 5 years in a senior delivery leadership role (VP, Head of Delivery, Delivery Director, or equivalent).

• Proven success delivering enterprise-scale Data, AI, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud, or Digital Transformation programs.

• Experience managing multiple strategic accounts across diverse industries.

• Strong experience leading globally distributed delivery organizations.

• Demonstrated ability to build executive relationships with C-level stakeholders.

• Experience working within high-growth, entrepreneurial, or startup environments is highly desirable.

Required Skills

• Expertise in delivery governance, portfolio management, program management, risk management, escalation management, utilization, and delivery financials.

• Strong understanding of modern data platforms and cloud ecosystems including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Databricks, and Snowflake.

• Working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture practices and AI-driven enterprise solutions sufficient to lead strategic delivery discussions.

• Familiarity with AI-native delivery concepts such as Knowledge Graphs, Context Engineering, GraphRAG, AI evaluation, AI governance, and AI economics is an advantage.

• Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Experience with delivery management tools, resource planning systems, dashboards, and operational reporting.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build scalable delivery processes in a fast-growing consulting organization.
