Job Summary: The role is a senior leadership role that focuses on driving digital transformation, developing technology-driven products, and enhance commercial value through digital channels.
The role will spearhead the digital transformation of products, driving adoption of digital platforms, automating processes, and enhancing customer experience (user journey) to increase revenue and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a digital strategy for trade solutions that aligns with organizational goals and market trends.
- Product Management & Commercialization: Lead the development, launch, and enhancement of digital trade channels, such as Port Community Systems (PCS), Supply Chain Finance platforms, and digital customs systems.
- Onboarding & Client Services: Manage the onboarding of clients and counterparties to digital platforms, driving adoption rates and ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Digital Transformation: Lead cross-functional initiatives to move from manual/paper-based trade processes to digital solutions (e.g., e-bills of lading).
- Operational Risk & Governance: Ensure all digital solutions are compliant with regulatory standards and internal risk frameworks, including KYC/AML in digital onboarding.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with external technology partners, consultants, and internal departments (IT, Sales, Legal, Operations) to implement solutions.
- Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring: Utilize dashboards and data insights to track transaction volumes, system performance, and ROI of digital platforms.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in trade finance, banking, or logistics technology, with proven success in leading digital product launches.
- Digital Literacy: Deep understanding of trade finance technologies (e.g., SWIFT, blockchain), FinTech solutions, and digital banking platforms.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage teams, influence stakeholders, and drive projects in a fast-paced environment.
