VP, Supervision - Land Based Casino

Job Description

As the VP, Supervision – Land based Casino at GCGRA, your primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the supervision of Land based casino's to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, maintain the integrity of the gaming industry, and protect the interests of players. You will play a critical role in monitoring and evaluating the operations of those establishments, implementing regulatory frameworks, and enforcing compliance measures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive supervision strategy aligned with the objectives and priorities of GCGRA.
• Establish risk-based supervision frameworks and methodologies to effectively monitor and evaluate gaming operators and licensees.
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of gaming establishments to assess their adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Establish robust monitoring systems and processes to track the activities of gaming operators and licensees. Identify areas of non-compliance and develop recommendations for corrective actions or enforcement measures.
• Analyze data and key performance indicators to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks to the integrity of the gaming industry.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation to communicate findings, observations, and recommendations to senior management and regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including other regulatory agencies, law enforcement authorities, and industry associations, to share information, best practices, and coordinate efforts.
• Provide input on regulatory requirements, standards, and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of the regulatory framework. And contribute to the development and revision of gaming regulations, policies, and guidelines.
  
  

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in regulatory compliance, supervision of land based casino, or related roles within the gaming industry or a regulatory agency. Strong knowledge of gaming laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as law, business, or public administration.
• Familiarity with supervision frameworks, methodologies, and risk-based approaches.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Professional certifications related to regulatory compliance or supervision (e.g., CRCM, CGCS) are desirable.
