The Department of community Development is hiring for the role of Vulnerable Group Inclusion Section Head (UAE National) to join their team in Abu Dhabi.
Objective of the Role
Leading the development and improvement of evidence-based policies and strategies for Vulnerable Group Inclusion in accordance with their needs and ensuring an effective and efficient implementation in coordination with the concerned authorities, to achieve sustainable and impactful development and inclusion.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the development of Vulnerable Group Inclusion strategies and policies in coordination with the concerned authorities and the approved regulations.
- Identify key social services, programs and initiatives based on the needs of Vulnerable Group Inclusion to promote their well-being and support their social integration, in coordination with strategic policies and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Monitoring performance and impact of targeted programs and initiative.
- Ensure that priorities and plans align with Social strategic objectives, and that they are implemented on time, within budget, and with high quality.
- People and financial management of the section.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of full-time experience in strategy, public policy, program management, with a minimum of 2 years managing a team (Currently on a supervisory or Team lead level).
- Master's degree in Rehabilitation psychology, public administration, public policy, Vulnerable Group Inclusion or related.
- Available to work in Abu Dhabi on full time office based.

- Social program design and success monitoring
- Good understanding of the Vulnerable Group Inclusion regulations and best practices in Abu Dhabi and UAE in general.
- Fluent in English and Native Arabic.
