Job Description
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Waiter to join our dynamic food and beverage team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Waiter, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional service and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where attention to detail, efficiency, and genuine hospitality are paramount. - Report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform with name badge at all times, maintaining professional appearance and grooming standards
- Greet guests warmly and courteously, providing attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, communicating special requests and dietary requirements to the kitchen and bar staff
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring orders are correct and presented according to established standards
- Set up and clear tables efficiently, maintaining proper table settings and ensuring dining areas remain clean and organized
- Gather and transport all supplies needed for service setup, including linens, utensils, glassware, and condiments
- Perform side duties and station maintenance as assigned, ensuring all service areas are kept safe, clean, and well-stocked
- Handle cash transactions accurately and securely, processing payments and providing change with precision
- Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests in a courteous and helpful manner, resolving issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding guest feedback, complaints, or any irregularities
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, beverages, and restaurant services to provide informed recommendations
- Assist colleagues during peak service times, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork to ensure smooth operations
- Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by management to support overall restaurant operations
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English language with strong reading, writing, and oral communication skills
- Proven experience in food and beverage service or hospitality industry (preferred)
- Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for guest satisfaction and service excellence
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to build rapport with diverse clientele
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team while also taking initiative independently
- Proficiency in multitasking and time management, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage products, menu items, and service standards
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Cash handling experience and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems (preferred)
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, with commitment to maintaining cleanliness protocols
