About The Closet Valet

The Closet Valet is a private wardrobe management service for clients who want their wardrobes handled with greater care, structure, and visibility beyond what the home alone allows.

Items that are not in active use, from seasonal and occasion pieces to delicate or high-value items, are collected from the home, individually cataloged, cared for off-site, and returned when needed. The service is designed to keep wardrobes accessible while maintaining the standard of care each item requires.

The role is part wardrobe handling, part household-facing service, and part operational discipline.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Wardrobe Butler / Wardrobe Concierge to join our team in Dubai.

The Role

The Wardrobe Butler / Wardrobe Concierge is responsible for handling clients wardrobe items across the full service journey — from collection at the residence, through cataloging and storage, to return when requested.

This is a client-facing role that requires professionalism, discretion, attention to detail, and a strong sense of personal responsibility in how items are handled.

You will be trusted to work in private homes, interact professionally with clients and household staff, and uphold the standards of care that define The Closet Valet.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit clients homes to collect wardrobe items in a professional and respectful manner
• Interact confidently and appropriately with clients, personal assistants, house managers, butlers, and household staff
• Inspect items carefully upon collection and note relevant details where needed
• Prepare items for transport, cataloging, and storage with attention to presentation and condition
• Support the individual cataloging of wardrobe items using internal digital tools and systems with accuracy and consistency
• Handle items with care throughout the storage process, maintaining service standards at every stage
• Organize items within the facility according to internal systems and operational standards
• Prepare and fulfill return requests accurately and efficiently
• Drive a company vehicle as part of daily operations
• Maintain a high standard of presentation, conduct, discretion, and communication at all times
• Support adjacent wardrobe service tasks and day-to-day operational requirements as the role evolves over time

The right person is service-minded, detail-oriented, discreet, and comfortable operating in private, high-trust environments. They take pride in presentation, work carefully, and understand the importance of consistency in how clients belongings are handled.

You should be:

• Professional and polished in conduct
• Reliable, organized, and consistent
• Calm and respectful when working inside private homes
• Comfortable following process and maintaining standards
• Strong in spoken English

·        Additional languages are welcome and can be an advantage in a client-facing environment

• Comfortable using digital tools and systems accurately
• Able to work carefully with high-value and delicate wardrobe items

Preferred Background

Experience in one or more of the following is highly valued:

• Hospitality, especially guest-facing roles
• Hotel concierge or butler service
• Private household roles such as house manager, personal assistant, wardrobe assistant, or similar
• Fashion, styling, wardrobe support, or garment handling

An understanding of designer brands, fabrics, and high-value wardrobe items is a strong advantage.

Requirements

• Valid UAE driving license
• Already based in the UAE
• Strong spoken English
• Additional languages are welcome and may be an advantage
• Comfortable supporting both client-facing service and day-to-day operational tasks
• Able to work full-time in Dubai
