Role Description

The Warehouse Accountant at Bekia Inc. is responsible for managing and reconciling inventory-related financial records in an on-site warehouse environment in Egypt. This full-time role includes monitoring stock movements, recording incoming and outgoing materials, and ensuring accurate documentation of all warehouse transactions. The position involves preparing regular inventory and cost reports, coordinating with warehouse and operations staff to resolve discrepancies, and supporting periodic audits. The Warehouse Accountant will also assist in implementing internal controls, maintaining compliance with company policies, and providing data needed for financial planning and analysis.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and cost tracking within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and basic ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Solid understanding of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to analyze and interpret quantitative information.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with warehouse, operations, and finance teams.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Egypt, manage multiple tasks, and meet reporting deadlines.
• Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing accounting is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
