Warehouse Assistant cum Forklift Operator

Job purpose

Help manage the flow of products and stock through the warehouse and responsible for receiving & storing goods in the warehouse.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Cross checking of purchase order with respect to invoice/packing list.

2. Checking no. of Pallets/Cartons physically received against Bill of Entry.

3. Unpack and checking goods as per Packing List / invoice.

4. Unpack and removing of Temptale, switching of Temptale for recording and marking of Temptale on relevant cartons

5. Prepare of temp tale report and send it to quality in charge for approval and release of products.

6. Identify the goods discrepancy and report to supervisor for damage goods, goods received without temperature control, short quantity, excess quantity, change in price, change in product code or pack size, goods received without purchase order, short shelf life, invoice variation and report same to supervisor, quality in charge and pharmacist in charge.

7. Direct the goods to preparation area for putting the stickers for pharma products and delivering the same to the customer for shipment against any specific customer LPOs.

8. Store of the goods principal wise, brand wise. Product wise etc.

9. Store the goods as per stock category such as commercial stock, bonus stock, principals stock, samples stock, controlled, cold store Medicines etc.

10. Store goods in such a way so that nearest expiry first out and first in first out system can be followed.

11. Monitor temperature of cold storage in order to preserve goods.

12. Proper handling of goods to prevent any damage.

13. Any other special works allotted by the supervisor.

14. Remove expired items on monthly basis and coordinating for destruction process.

15. Ensure proper space utilization in the warehouse during storage of goods and frequently engaging in sub inventory transfers.

• 2-3 years of experience
