Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations within the FMCG sector.
  • Knowledge of hygiene regulations, FEFO/FIFO, and audit readiness.

Job Purpose:

To support the efficient day-to-day warehouse operations for FMCG products, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in line with hygiene, safety, and quality standards. The Warehouse Executive plays a key role in maintaining stock accuracy, optimizing space, and contributing to high service levels across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inbound & Outbound Operations

Supervise unloading of inbound RPMs and MROs, verifying quantities, batch codes, and shelf life.

Coordinate outbound shipments to distributors or retail channels as per delivery schedules.

Ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO principles and accurate documentation (GRNs, delivery notes, etc.)

2. Inventory & Stock Management

Monitor inventory levels and conduct routine cycle counts and stock reconciliations.

Update inventory movements on the ERP/WMS system (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

Identify and report slow-moving, damaged, or expired stock.

3. Warehouse Hygiene & Safety

Ensure daily housekeeping and maintain a clean, pest-free warehouse in accordance with FMCG hygiene standards.

Enforce compliance with safety procedures, PPE usage, and fire prevention measures.

Support implementation of 5S, HACCP, and ISO standards where applicable.

4. Team Coordination

Assign tasks to warehouse operators and provide on-the-job training as needed.

Monitor productivity and adherence to SOPs.

Coordinate with quality, production, and transportation teams for smooth warehouse flow.

5. Reporting & Documentation

Prepare daily stock reports, receiving and dispatch summaries, and KPI dashboards.

Maintain accurate records for internal audits and regulatory inspections.

Preferred International Certifications (a plus, not mandatory):

  • CPIM Certified in Production and Inventory Management
  • CSCP Certified Supply Chain Professional
  • CLTD Certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution
