Job Description
Job Summary:
To manage and oversee logistics and warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient storage, handling, inventory control, transportation, and distribution of products while achieving high service levels, operational efficiency, cost control, and compliance with company standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
. Logistics & Distribution
- Plan and manage daily distribution and transportation activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers and distribution points.
- Optimize routes, vehicle utilization, delivery schedules, and transportation costs.
- Monitor delivery performance and resolve delays, shortages, damages, and other issues.
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Customer Service, Planning, Production, and Warehousing.
2. Warehouse Management
- Oversee warehouse receiving, storage, picking, loading, dispatching, and transfers.
- Ensure effective warehouse organization and space utilization.
- Maintain proper product handling, FIFO/FEFO, housekeeping, safety, and security standards.
- Ensure efficient warehouse manpower and resource utilization.
3. Inventory Management
- Ensure accurate physical and system inventory records.
- Manage cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and investigation of variances.
- Monitor damaged, slow-moving, expired, and obsolete stock.
- Ensure accurate and timely ERP/WMS transactions.
- Maintain proper control of pallets, racks, and other logistics assets.
4. Customer Service
- Ensure orders are prepared and delivered according to agreed service levels.
- Monitor OTIF and order fulfillment accuracy.
- Resolve delivery-related customer issues and implement corrective actions.
5. Cost & Performance Management
- Monitor warehouse and transportation costs against budget.
- Track logistics and warehouse KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
- Improve vehicle utilization, warehouse productivity, and overall operational efficiency.
6. People Management
- Lead, coach, and develop the logistics and warehouse team.
- Set objectives and KPIs and conduct performance reviews.
- Ensure adequate staffing, manpower allocation, training, and employee development.
7. Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Support audits and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Identify and implement improvements in warehouse processes, logistics planning, and distribution.

Education and Experience:
Certificates & Licenses:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution, or supply chain.
- 3–5 years in a managerial role.
- FMCG, manufacturing, food, beverage, or high-volume distribution experience preferred.
- Experience managing warehouse operations, transportation, inventory, and distribution
