Business Need / Purpose Of Role
The Warehouse Plant Supervisor have to organize warehouse activities through outsourcing supplier, to manage reports and activities for:
- Material receiving
- Material preparation for production
- Internal handling (loading and unloading of trucks and supply material for production)
- Painting both management in site
- Packaging management and related documentation
- To manage directly the relationship with the outsourcing supplier toward the company in order to respect all services required/needed
Objectives & Measurement Key Responsibilities And Specific Accountabilities
Including but not limited to:
- assure Safety and Health conditions are put in place in warehouse
- organize Warehouse activities
- supply material for production activities
- support and supervising inventory activities
- Supervising the outsourcing KPIs by weekly basis
- Planning the activities by weekly basis (packaging, painting)
- Supervising warehouse after market dept. by weekly basis
- Follow up documents for packaging design and goods delivery
- Management of external warehouses
- Analyze several data (SAP, KPIs etc..) to have the opportunity to reduce inventory, improve customer service level satisfactory with the aim to decrease the total costs and optimize the processes from the Lean prospective
- To prevent potential issues against workshop planning that could be coming from missing and/or wrong material
- To coordinate and manage the disposal of obsolete material according to the internal rules
Education And/or Experience
Technical degree with at least one to three years of working experience in warehouse department. Must possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written; organizational skills; problem solving & analytical skills.

Health & Safety & Environment Role & Responsibility
Every worker is obliged to scrupulously observe the regulations for the protection of the safety of workers and the environment and to use the tools and organizational measures made available by the company.
The worker is the first guarantor of safety in the company.
Among the main duties of the workers are those to:
- contribute, together with the employer, managers and those responsible for health & safety, to fulfill the obligations envisaged to protect health and safety in the workplace;
- observe the directives and instructions given by the employer, the managers and the persons in charge for the purposes of collective and individual protection;
- correctly use work equipment, dangerous substances and mixtures, vehicles and safety devices;
- use the protection devices made available to them in an appropriate manner;
- immediately notify the employer of any danger or anomaly condition, working to eliminate
or reduce the situations of serious and looming danger, giving notice to the workers representative for safety;
- do not remove or modify safety, warning or control and environmental protection devices without authorization;
- not carrying out on their own initiative operations or maneuvers that are not within their competence or that may compromise the safety of themselves or other workers and the environment;
- take part in the training programs set up by the employer;
- undergo the health checks required by Legislative Decree 81/08 or in any case ordered by the company physician.
TASKS FOR ACCOUNTABLES FOR SAFETY
- to supervise and oversee the compliance by individual workers with their legal obligations, as well as with company provisions on health and safety at work and environmental protection. In particular, the manager implements the BBS protocol adopted by the company to guarantee compliance and conformity with these provisions
- in case of non-observance by workers, to intervene directly with verbal reminders and, in case of persistence of non-compliance, inform the direct superior;
- to promptly report to the direct supervisor or the Prevention and Protection Service Manager or to the employer the deficiencies of work equipment, personal protective equipment, any dangerous conditions that occur during work and which it becomes aware of ;
