Role Purpose:

The Senior Warehouse Supervisor leads and oversees warehouse operations to ensure efficient workflow, inventory accuracy, and compliance with company standards. This role manages multiple teams, supports operational planning, and drives consistency across inbound, outbound, storage, and returns activities. The position works closely with the Warehouse Manager to support operational stability, team development, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership & Workflow Management

Oversee warehouse operations across receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and returns.

Ensure smooth execution of inbound and outbound activities in line with established procedures.

Plan workloads, allocate manpower, and adjust resources to meet operational priorities.

Ensure consistent adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Inventory Control & Accuracy

Oversee inventory activities including receipt verification, stock movement tracking, and audits.

Ensure correct storage methods, stock rotation, and bin accuracy.

Investigate inventory variances related to damages, shortages, or misplacements.

Support corrective actions to prevent recurring inventory issues.

Team Leadership & Development

Supervise team leaders and warehouse supervisors across shifts and functions.

Provide coaching, guidance, and on-the-job support to enhance team capability.

Support performance discussions, disciplinary actions, and staff development initiatives.

Promote teamwork, accountability, and a safety-focused work culture.

Process Improvement & Compliance

Support implementation of new operational processes and system enhancements.

Drive improvements in workflow efficiency, space utilization, and handling practices.

Ensure proper safeguarding of goods to minimize loss or damage.

Support WMS accuracy through validation and issue resolution.

Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with logistics, transport, procurement, and customer service teams.

Provide operational updates, issue summaries, and improvement recommendations to management.

Support special operational requirements, urgent movements, or customer-specific needs.

Safety & Facility Management

Enforce safety policies and occupational health standards across the warehouse.

Maintain housekeeping, organization, and equipment readiness.

Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and machinery.

Support cost-conscious use of resources and facilities.

Requirements:

Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred.

46 years of warehouse experience, including supervisory responsibility.

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and WMS.

Proven ability to lead teams across multiple shifts and functions.

Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Flexible to work in rotational or extended shifts as required.
