Role Description The Warehouse Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Heliopolis, responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate handling of materials. This role includes supervising warehouse team members, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and supporting training and development. The Warehouse Supervisor will coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensure timely order picking and packing, and oversee proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory. The role also involves managing inventory counts and reconciliations, maintaining warehouse equipment and safety standards, and collaborating with purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to meet operational targets and customer requirements. The supervisor will prepare routine reports on productivity, inventory accuracy, and any operational issues, and will support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
Qualifications
  • Strong supervisory skills with experience leading warehouse or operations teams, including task assignment, coaching, and performance monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience in shipping & receiving, including order processing, documentation, and coordination with carriers or logistics partners.
  • Practical knowledge of material handling and inventory control, including stock organization, cycle counting, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Experience with forklift operation and other warehouse equipment, with a strong commitment to safety and proper equipment handling.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP tools, and solid basic computer skills (e.g., Excel, email, reporting).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and a diverse workforce.
  • Previous experience in industrial products, valves, fittings, or similar distribution environments is an advantage.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or logistics-related education or certifications are a plus.
