Job Summary:
The Warehouse Team Leader leads warehouse packaging and issuance operations to ensure accurate material handling, inventory control, timely production support, and compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Leadership & Team Management:
- Supervise warehouse staff involved in packaging and issuance activities.
- Assign daily tasks and monitor team performance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Train employees on SOPs, safety procedures, and system usage (EWM/Tatmeen/WMS).
- Promote discipline, teamwork, and compliance with company standards.
B. Packaging Material Issuance:
- Review production requests and issue packaging materials accurately and on time.
- Verify item codes, batch numbers, and quantities before issuance.
- Ensure accurate documentation and system transactions for all issued materials.
- Coordinate with production teams to support urgent and priority requests.
C. Inventory Control:
- Monitor packaging material stock levels and report shortages proactively.
- Perform cycle counts and support monthly and annual inventory activities.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with FIFO/FEFO inventory practices.
D. Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with SFDA, Tatmeen, and internal SOP requirements.
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and system entries for audit readiness.
- Ensure proper labeling, segregation, and storage of packaging materials.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
E. Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee receiving, storage, and issuance processes for packaging materials.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with QC, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Report equipment issues, safety hazards, and operational deviations promptly.
Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of warehouse experience.
- Experience in packaging and issuance operations.
- Knowledge of WMS/EWM systems and warehouse procedures.
