Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily waste collection and disposal activities.
  • Ensure proper segregation of general, recyclable, hazardous, and organic waste.
  • Monitor waste collection schedules and contractor performance.
  • Maintain waste records, manifests, and disposal certificates.
  • Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations and client requirements.
  • Conduct waste audits and identify opportunities to reduce waste generation.
  • Monitor recycling programs and processes, also report recycling rates.
  • Train employees on proper waste segregation and handling procedures.
  • Investigate waste-related incidents or non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare periodic reports on waste volumes, recycling performance, and KPIs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in waste management, environmental services, or facility management.
  • Familiar HAZMAT safety and spill control management
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and waste management best practices.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
