- Water Meter Technology Knowledge: Understanding the operational characteristics of different types of water meters (mechanical, ultrasonic, electromagnetic) and their associated communication technologies (AMR/AMI).
- Field Operations Coordination: The ability to use the system to generate and manage service orders for field crews, such as for meter installations, repairs, or re-reads, often using mobile applications with geo-location features.
- Maily MDM expertise in smarter water management and operational efficiency.
- Core MDM System Knowledge & Skills : Responsibilities include: Project Management Schedule Management Stakeholder Management Infrastructure Deployment and Digital Transformation
- Meter Hardware Specifications: high expertise in all Metering specific standards.
- Communication Standards: A professional experience with different communication methods and protocols. Common standards include: Wired M-Bus or wireless wM-Bus / LoRaWAN / NB-IoT etc...
- System Integration & Data Management: High decision making through system level to integrate with the utility's existing Meter Data Management (MDM) software and meet data security and privacy requirements.
- Execution and deployment: Oversee field operations like meter exchanges and network installations, coordinate software and system integration, and manage procurement processes for hardware and software.
Oversee testing, deployment, and performance of AMI components (smart meters, HES, MDMS, communication infrastructure).
