We are seeking an experienced Water Network Planning Engineerwithin the utilities sector. The role focuses on ensuring the efficient, reliable, and sustainable delivery of water services through effective planning, simulation, and long-term infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize the water distribution networkto meet current and future demand.
Lead the preparation of master plans, feasibility studies, and hydraulic simulationsfor new and existing networks.
Conduct network modelingusing tools such as EPANET, WaterGEMS, or InfoWorks to assess and enhance system performance.
Support the implementation of asset management strategiesto improve network reliability and longevity.
Utilize AMI and network operations datafor performance optimization and proactive planning.
Collaborate with internal teams on rehabilitation plans, project coordination, and long-term capacity forecasting.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering(Master's degree preferred).
4-8 years of experience in water network planning, asset management, or hydraulic modeling.
Strong technical knowledge of water distribution systems, hydraulic principles, and infrastructure design.
Proficiency in network simulation toolsand exposure to AMI/SCADA applicationsin water systems.
Excellent communication, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
