Job Opportunity: Project Engineer – Oil & Gas Division | Kuwait
We are seeking a qualified Project Engineer with experience in the Oil & Gas Sector, strong technical expertise and effective project management skills to successfully lead & deliver projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and engineering support throughout project phases.
- Assist in bid preparation, tender submissions and coordination with clients and principals.
- Prepare RFQs, evaluate technical and commercial vendor offers.
- Oversee all aspects of project execution including engineering, procurement, contracting, and site coordination etc. to ensure efficient, cost-effective and timely delivery across all project phases.
- Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties to ensure timely project delivery.
- Develop competitive technical proposals aligned with client requirements.
- Conduct market research to support strategic planning.
- Manage documentation including plans, reports and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with upstream O&G standards and procedures.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office
- Fluency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret and develop BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs etc.
- Solid understanding of project management, cost estimation, tendering and bidding.
- Skilled in proposal writing, contract evaluation, compliance and negotiation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Valid Kuwait driving license preferred.
