Role Description

We are looking for a Web Developer / Web Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain modern, responsive, and scalable web applications and websites. The role involves working closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to transform business requirements and design concepts into reliable and user-friendly web solutions.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining web applications, implementing responsive interfaces, integrating APIs and third-party services, and optimizing website performance, accessibility, and usability. The role also involves troubleshooting technical issues, identifying and resolving bugs, conducting functional and performance testing, and ensuring web applications meet defined quality, security, and technical requirements.

The role may involve both frontend and backend development, database integration, system configuration, and deployment activities. Developers will also participate in code reviews, technical documentation, version control, CI/CD processes, and continuous improvement initiatives while following established software development standards and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Strong understanding of web development principles, programming concepts, data structures, and software architecture.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development technologies.
Familiarity with frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, Next.js, or similar technologies.
Understanding of backend development, RESTful APIs, databases, and web services.
Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and data integration concepts.
Knowledge of Git, version control, software testing, debugging, and CI/CD practices.
Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, web accessibility, security, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, deployment tools, or container technologies is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Good communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with technical and cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to code quality, maintainability, usability, and performance.
Proactive mindset with an interest in emerging web technologies and continuous improvement.
