We are looking for a webMethods Specialist / Developer to design, develop, test, and support integration solutions using the webMethods stack. The role will focus on building and maintaining APIs, integrations, and business processes across enterprise systems, while working fully on the customer side as part of their delivery team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations using webMethods Integration Server.
- Build and manage APIs using webMethods API Gateway and related components.
- Develop integration services, flow services, adapters, and business processes.
- Work with internal teams and customers to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support system integration, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
- Prepare technical documentation and ensure solutions follow agreed standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Required Experience and Skills
- Hands-on experience with the webMethods stack, including Integration Server and related integration components.
- Experience in API development, system integration, and service orchestration.
- Good understanding of REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, and common integration patterns.
- Experience with databases, SQL, and enterprise application integrations.
- Ability to troubleshoot integration issues and support production environments.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Experience working in structured delivery environments with development, testing, and deployment processes.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with webMethods API Gateway, BPM, B2B, or Managed File Transfer.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in government, banking, or other enterprise environments.
- IBM webMethods certification or relevant training is a plus.
