Legnano Teknoelectric Company Middle East, worldwide leader in the production of high-performance cores and laminations for transformers & reactors, is looking for its Dubai seat for a skilled and experienced MIG Welder.
Responsibilities:
- To perform MIG / MAG welding.
- To read and interpret technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- To prepare materials for fit-up and ensure they meet project specification.
- To utilize and understand welding gases, electrodes, and cylinders.
- To work with mild steel and stainless steel.
- To maintain a strong safety culture before, during, and after welding tasks.
- To collaborate effectively with other team members
- To ensure the working area is maintained properly and all tools and materials are used correctly.
- To complete data sheets and documentation accurately before the end of each shift.
- Adapt to different working shifts including morning, afternoon, and night.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a MIG/MAG welder; TIG welding experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Knowledge of welding gases, electrodes, and cylinders.
- Familiarity with mild steel and stainless steel is advantageous.
- Strong commitment to safety practices.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain and protect the working area and equipment.
- Flexibility to work on different shifts.
