Education: High School or Vocational Training School Diploma in similar function (Welding).

Working days: 5-6 days

Skills

• Must be able to communicate in English(written/spoken).
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in welding / fabrication line.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to make decisions regarding products conformity to standards.
• Setting up of components for welding according to specifications
• Vehicle assembly equipment and machinery
• Adhere to OHSE legislations, standards and the Organization Policy s & Procedures.
• Reviews and interprets technical drawings and standard operating procedures of works required for MIG/TIG Welding operations.
• Makes appropriate use of proper tools, measuring instruments, gages, process sheets and operating manuals to assure the welding machine uptime and product quality output.
• Established the designated jigs and fixtures to achieve best fitting of parts and materials for welding works.
• Sets up the welding machines to assure the most effective and efficient welding process.
• Performs the welding on parts and materials in the most skilful manner, e.g. horizontal, vertical or overhead directions.
