A Welding Engineer ensure close coordination, implementation to develop of Welding Procedure Specification( WPS/WPQR), NDT/DT, Engineering Critical assessment, Welder Qualification and performance monitoring, Control Welding Rejection rate, study and implement welding techniques and application of welding equipment utilizing knowledge of production specifications and compliance as Welding Manager, per Client/ International Code and Standard.
Qualifications:
- B SC/Bachelor degree in Metallurgical Engineering
- Must have CSWIP 3.1/3.2
Experiences:
- Overall 5 to 7 Years Experience in Major EPC Oil/Gas and directly involved in EPC project.
Job Responsibilities :
- Focal Point for Welding department at Welding/Project Site
- Develop all Proposed, Welding Procedure Specifications/ WPQR as per Project Requirements.
- Develop and Conduct Welders Qualification Test programs
- Monitor and Control Weld Rejection Rate of all Projects.
- Controls Welding Resources ( Welders and welding operators )
- Monitor and Control Weekly/Cumulative Weld Rejection Rate for ARAMCO projects.
- Monitor and Controls Weekly/Cumulative Welders Rejection rate for ARAMCO Projects.
- Monitor and Controls Projects Approved NDT companies, RTFI disagreement.
- Selection of Materials/ Line pipe, fittings depending upon their weldability.
- MTO evaluation and selection depending upon Project requirements.
- Monitor and Develop Hot Tap Packages.
- Training and Developments Program for Employees.
- Work with Corporate Development and other department to implement the company policies and Procedure.
