Title: Wholesale Banking Business Finance and Product Control Manager
Department: Wholesale Banking Business Finance
Location: Riyadh
Core Responsibilities:
- Support in strengthening control over Product Control and Business Finance processes and procedures, and to ensure that all control weaknesses are documented and reported both financial and non-financial incidents are reported to business heads and Operational Risk.
- Support in reviewing new policies, regulations, procedures and guidelines to ensure smooth and timely implementation.
- Work with the team to ensure Murex system set up readiness to adhere any new regulations, requirements or procedure changes.
- Support in reviewing new product proposals, related accounting requirements, market risk impact analysis, etc.
- Support in Murex system capability/feasibility reviews for new products to ensure timely readiness
- Support in the Overall Mentoring and review of the BS and IS balances, movements and trends to identify and highlight unusual and abnormal movements and advise on corrective actions.
- Support senior management in showing system controls and gaps.
- Support senior management in effective engagement with the business focus on BF role to create effective partnership.
- Support senior management in quality and timely manners develop value added financial/feasibility/ profitability/cost savings modules ensuring proper measuring and monitoring financial aspects.
- Support senior management in explaining and analyzing variances in depth by identifying the real drivers and causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Support senior management in budgeting, planning, and forecasting exercise by confirming and aligning business drivers, assumptions, expectations, initiatives and strategies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field.
- Prior product control experience within banking industry.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
