Role Description The Wholesale Demand Planning role at Naguib Selim is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, Egypt. The role is responsible for forecasting wholesale demand across product categories, monitoring sales trends, and aligning stock levels with customer requirements and business targets. Daily tasks include analyzing historical data, preparing demand plans, coordinating with sales, finance, and supply chain teams, and updating forecasts based on market feedback and promotional activities. The role also involves tracking key performance indicators, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting decision-making for inventory replenishment and product assortment. This position requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure product availability, minimize stock-outs and overstocks, and maintain strong service levels for wholesale clients.
Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and translate insights into actionable demand plans.
• Proficiency in planning and forecasting, including experience with demand planning tools or spreadsheets and basic supply chain concepts.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with sales, finance, operations, and customer service teams and present findings clearly.
• Understanding of finance principles related to budgeting, margin, and inventory cost, supporting data-driven commercial decisions.
• Customer service orientation, with the ability to support wholesale clients by aligning demand plans with service level expectations.
• Advanced skills in Excel or similar tools; experience with ERP or inventory management systems is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in wholesale, retail, home textiles, or FMCG demand planning is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and capacity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
