Requirements
Educational Qualifications (optional): B.E. / B. Tech /B Sc
Experience Level :6-10 years (relevant at least 3 - 5 exp.)
Experience in Large VMWare vSphere enterprise environment.
Handling Data Centre Operations with Business & Mission Critical VMWare vSphere.
Experience in ESXi Hypervisor and Windows + Linux Guest OS Administration
Handling complex scenarios and part of Migration and implementation on Enterprise vSphere
Hands-on Experience in BSOD & PSOD Case study Analysis process and Generating RCA
Troubleshooting Knowledge on VM Operations like Snapshot Management/VM Reconfiguration/VM Power Management/VM Files deep Functions & VM Lock Issues etc..
Better understanding of vSphere Ancillary components like Shared Storage /vNetworking/Backup Solutions including storage Protocols & Shared Storage. Understand how network communication works (TCP/IP)
Strong in Performance Investigation skills of vSphere components like VM /ESXI/VCSA/Storage/Networking
Strong Analytical Skills on Update Manager/ LCM Errors & Remediations including Patching & Hypervisor upgradations
Hands-on Experience on Virtual Networking Blueprints & Port Group Configurations at VSS & VDS
Hands-on Experience on vSphere Components, Log Analysis to find the Root Cause and Remediation
Hands-on Experience on Blades / Converged [Cisco UCSM & VBLOCK] also HCI [Nutanix + Rack + Rail],
Understanding of SAN configurations, storage components like attached storage, SAN switches, HBA, LUN mapping, Raid and volume groups
Good knowledge on vSphere components Front end and Backend Architecture
Good knowledge on High Availability, DRS, vMotion, SV Motion VMware SMP, capacity planner, Plate Spin Power Convert (V2P and P2V)
Installation, Configuration and Management of VMWARE vSphere infrastructure.
Good hands-on experience on VMware products like Vrops, Log insight, orchestrator, VSAN etc.
