Wood Furniture Factory Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Wood Furniture Factory Manager to oversee daily operations at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring quality standards, supervising staff, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Production Management:
- Plan, organize, and monitor the manufacturing process to ensure timely and efficient production.
- Develop and implement production schedules and workflow strategies.
- Monitor progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and coordinate activities of production staff, including carpenters, machine operators, and quality control personnel.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Quality Control:
- Oversee the quality assurance process to maintain product standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Implement improvements to minimize waste and defects.
- Health & Safety:
- Ensure all factory operations comply with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct safety training and enforce best practices.
- Inventory & Materials Management:
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
- Coordinate with purchasing for timely procurement of supplies.
- Minimize material waste and control production costs.
- Maintenance & Equipment:
- Ensure machinery and equipment are maintained and functioning properly.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and servicing.
- Reporting & Budgeting:
- Prepare regular reports on production, quality, staffing, and costs.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control measures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in furniture manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery, tools, and furniture production processes.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position.
- Based in a manufacturing facility (factory floor and office environment).
- May require extended hours during peak production periods.
