• Applicants must have 2 years overseas experience (Gulf country/ Aramco approved preferable) as Work Permit Receiver.
• Read and understand: Review the work permit, scope of work, and job safety analysis to know all hazards and rules.
• Inspect the site: Do a joint check with the permit issuer to verify safety controls, gas tests, and equipment isolations (like Lockout/Tagout) are ready.
• Lead a toolbox talk: Brief the work crew on potential risks, emergency steps, and safety precautions before starting.
• Check gear: Confirm all workers wear the correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and post the permit copy at the site.
• Monitor continuously: Stay present or frequently check the area to make sure the team follows exact permit limits (time, place, and tasks).
• Stop unsafe work: Exercise stop-work authority immediately if conditions change or an unsafe action occurs, then notify the permit issuer.
• Restore the site: Ensure tools are removed, equipment is secured, and the area is clean.
• Close the permit: Sign off on the completed work and return the permit to the issuer.
