Description
Amazon's Workforce Staffing (WFS) team is responsible for delivering high-volume hiring solutions that meet the dynamic labor demands of Amazon's operations network. We build scalable staffing infrastructure, optimize candidate pipelines, and execute hiring strategies that ensure the right talent is in place — on time and at scale. We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented WFS Specialist (High Volume Hiring) to join our team in Giza, Egypt, supporting the MENA organization. In this role, you will be responsible for executing end-to-end high-volume hiring operations, managing candidate pipelines, and ensuring labor fill targets are consistently met across peak and steady-state periods..
Key job responsibilities
- Execute high-volume hiring plans to meet weekly and seasonal labor demand targets, including peak periods (Ramadan, Prime Day, White Friday)
- Manage the end-to-end candidate funnel — from sourcing through Day 1 start — ensuring cycle time, conversion rates, and show rates meet or exceed benchmarks
- Coordinate and run mass hiring events (in-person and virtual), ensuring seamless candidate experience and operational readiness
- Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly hiring KPIs including fill rate, cost per hire, candidate drop-off, and defect rates
- Partner with Operations, Finance, and HR site leaders to understand labor requirements and translate demand plans into actionable hiring schedules
- Monitor and optimize applicant funnel metrics, identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions to improve throughput
- Support labor acquisition strategies including job advertising, talent pool utilization, and channel effectiveness to attract diverse candidate pools at the lowest cost per hire
- Manage hiring event logistics, attendance forecasting, and candidate communications to minimize no-show rates
- Manage relationships with 3rd-party (3P) staffing vendors, including performance tracking, capacity planning, and ensuring vendors meet hiring SLAs, quality standards, and compliance requirements
- Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners (staffing agencies, job boards, community organizations) to sustain a healthy candidate pipeline
- Analyze hiring data to identify trends, flag risks to fill targets, and recommend adjustments to staffing plans
- Ensure compliance with local labor regulations and Amazon hiring policies throughout the recruitment process
- Travel as needed to conduct hiring events across designated locations within the assigned geography
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance hiring efficiency, reduce cost per hire, and improve candidate and associate experience
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of human resources experience
- Bachelor's degree, or BS degree
- Knowledge of employment law and HR policies and procedures
