WSH Management: Develop, implement, and review Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) management systems, risk assessments, and safe work procedures on-site.
Environmental Control: Implement environmental control programmes, conduct regular inspections for vector control, silt discharge, noise levels, and waste management in compliance with NEA guidelines.
Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into any site incidents or near-misses, prepare comprehensive reports, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Site Inspections & Audits: Conduct daily site safety walks and environmental inspections to ensure all workers and subcontractors adhere to safety protocols and environmental laws.
Liaison & Reporting: Act as the primary point of contact for relevant statutory authorities (MOM, NEA, PUB) and handle all safety and environmental documentation and audits.
Job Requirements:
Education: Degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Building Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, or a related field of study.
Professional Registrations (Mandatory):
Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
Registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) with the National Environment Agency (NEA).
Experience: Proven experience tracking and managing site safety and environmental controls within the Singapore construction sector.
Knowledge: Up-to-date, thorough understanding of the WSH Act, Environmental Protection and Management Act, and other local statutory regulations.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, assertive communication, and excellent problem-solving skills to manage site-wide compliance effectively.
