Workplace Technology Trainee will support the Information Technology team in day-to-day execution and assist with developing, planning and executing plans and campaigns.
This is a temporary contract role for 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support IT Operations, including day-to-day administration, coordination, and service support activities.
- Provide first- and second-level end user support for hardware, software, applications, and collaboration tools across the business.
- Troubleshoot and resolve end user issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, operating systems, printers, and peripherals.
- Create clear block diagrams and process flowcharts to document application operations and data flows.
- Actively manage stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, customer-focused IT support.
- Collaborate closely with Service Operations resolver teams to ensure efficient issue resolution, escalation, and knowledge sharing.
- Log, track, and update incidents and service requests in the ITSM tool in line with SLAs.
- Assess, prioritize, and escalate incidents and problems based on business impact, urgency, and agreed support models.
- Perform user onboarding and offboarding activities, including account setup, access provisioning, and equipment readiness.
- Support end user technology standards, including device builds, software deployment, patching, and upgrades.
- Contribute to knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures, and user guides to improve self-service and support efficiency.
- Produce regular operational reports on End User Computing (EUC) performance, issues, trends, and service status.
