A Workshop Coordinator for a Luxury Fleet is responsible for the seamless operational management of high-end vehicle maintenance and repairs. This role serves as the critical link between technical teams, service advisors, and elite clients to ensure the fleet maintains impeccable performance and aesthetic standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Workflow Management: Plan, schedule, and allocate maintenance and repair tasks to specialized technicians to ensure optimal workshop productivity.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous inspections (interior and exterior) to ensure all work meets luxury brand standards before vehicle delivery.
- Client Coordination: Communicate directly with clients or service advisors regarding repair timelines, technical updates, and approvals.
- Downtime Optimization: Monitor vehicle status in real-time to minimize turnaround time (TAT) and ensure fleet readiness.
- Parts & Inventory: Coordinate with procurement teams and vendors to ensure the timely availability of genuine spare parts and specialized tools.
- Record Keeping: Maintain detailed service logs, job cards, and digital maintenance records in systems like SAP or specialized fleet management software.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to local safety regulations (e.g., RTA in the UAE) and manufacturer warranty standards.
