Job Title: Workshop Technician
Reporting to: Workshop Supervisor
Nature of the Position: Full Time
Role Overview:
The job holder is responsible for ensuring that equipment is being redressed, repaired, and maintained in accordance with Company procedures. The job holder shall administer routing sheets, quality documents, and ensure accurate tool records are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- To perform all aspects of workshop administration for HESA in the KSA.
- Ensure that equipment is being redressed, repaired, and maintained in accordance with recommended practices and procedures.
- Ensure that plant and machinery are maintained/calibrated & operated safely in accordance with recommended practices.
- To check, receive, and verify that all incoming goods or tools being returned are properly receipted, and identified.
- To report tool transfers and/or repairs/reworks in a timely manner.
- Check routing sheets and quality documents and maintain accurate tool records.
- Maintain a safe, clean, & tidy workshop.
- Adhere to Hunting Quality procedures.
- Familiarize and operate in accordance with Hunting procedures and processes, which comply with our Quality and Safety policies.
- To always promote a professional company image.
- Assemble newly built or existing Pressure Control Equipment and/or Slickline Tools and Thru Tubing DHT components as per the company's quality standard, operating procedures, and check lists. Carry out all necessary equipment function tests and verify that all required QA certificates and records are in place and are valid prior to shipping goods to customers.
- Work Tasks Include: Water Blasting, Painting, engraving, Lead refurbishment, cleaning equipment, Forklift operating, and jib crane operations.
- Inspect, service, repair, track, certification status, and carry out all work required to keep these assets ready for the next jobs.
- Inform the supervisor of any customer complaints.
- Inspect the status of customers tools and equipment. Address technical support requests. Propose time and material requirements for equipment servicing jobs.
- To achieve customer satisfaction by application of the Quality Management System.
- To create and maintain good working relationships.
To fulfill responsibilities under the Company Health, Safety and Environmental Policy and so far as reasonably practicable the health, safety, and welfare of the team.
Qualifications/Skills and Experience:
- Relevant PCE and slickline tools 3 – 5 years of experience
- Full Saudi Driving License
- Certificate or Diploma degree in industrial training or technical education is desirable
- Must be fit to work in a standard workshop environment
- Knowledge and skills of Microsoft Office programs
- Forklift driving training
